Chapter 9

We got home quickly. The rain had was worse now and the wind was sharp. Even with the jacket I was shivering. what happened to the weather? It was perfect before. Maybe i should have checked the weather before i even came out. Note for next time.
I felt bad about using Jake's jacket. He must be so cold right now.
We got off of the bike and ran inside the house. My teeth were chattering and I was shivering.
Jake pulled the soaking jacket from me and wrapped a towel around me.
"Thanks" I chattered.
"It's alright. You will warm up soon" His teeth were chattering too. Aww. I nodded. "Wanna go and get into bed? It will be warmer there"
"Yeah" We walked up the stairs and e went to his bedroom.
"I'm gonna go for a shower" He called out.
"Ok. I'll have one after you. Can you leave the water running?" I replied.
"Sure i'll shout you when it's free" I took a look at myself in the mirror. My mascara had run down my face and my hair was wet and tangled. BEAUTIFUL. I thought, laughing quietly to myself.
10 minutes later jake shouted my name and I got in the shower. The heat of the water warmed me up and I felt better. Happier.
About 20 minutes later I got out of the shower. I put on my pjs which were just purple shorts and a lose vest top and walked into my room.
Jake was lay in my bed, sleeping. Aww. Wait... MY BED! WHAT? Where was I going to sleep?
I leaned over my bed to check if he was asleep when he pulled me down an put his arm around me so I couldn't move. Eek.
"Oi! Get off" I groaned.
"Sorry. I'm too tired. I'm not moving until morning" He replied and I heard him smile. I literally heard the smile form on his face.
"This is my room. Why are you in here?"
"Just sleep. I can't argue now" And he fell asleep with his arm around me. I couldn't move. I saw no other way out than to just sleep....

I woke the next morning to my alarm. Jake groaned and rolled over. I had a great sleep. My bed was really warm because of jake's super body heat. Did all boys have this body heat?
"Turn it off. Let me have another 10 minutes" He moaned, half asleep. I giggled and turned it off. To be honest, I wanted to have another 10 minutes but I knew I wouldn't be ready if I did.
"Get up jake. We have school" I told him as I swung my legs off of the bed.
"No. Let me sleep"
"It's 9:00am jake wake up" I lied. It was only 7:00am, but my mom used to say that to me to get me up. It always worked.
"That means I can sleep more. I don't have to go in"
"Will anything get you up?" I laughed.
"No"
"Come on jake"
"I cant"
"I'll drag you off the bed"
"Good luck" I took his arm and pulled. Nothing. What had he been eating? He was so heavy. I let out a puff of breath. "Give me 10 minutes and i'll get up"
"Fine"
I took a quick shower, dressed and went back into my room. It was 15 minutes later and he was still in bed. Ugh.
I took a glass from the kitchen and filled it with ice cold water. I smiled and poured it onto his face.
"Arghh" He screamed. "What was that for?" His hair was soaking. Haha.
"Sleeping. Now get up. You are in my bed"
"Ughh" He groaned and sat up "you know it takes a long time to perfect this hair"
"Yeah" He got up and walked out of the room.
I put on my mascara and made myself look presentable before going to find jake. I knocked on his door.
"Come in" I opened the door. His room was immaculate. His bed was made, his shoes were neatly organised in the corner, his desk was clear. Spotless. The only thing that was bringing it down was all his hair products on his bed. Wow. Even I don't use this much on my hair. He stood In his usual uniform but he today he wore his leather jacket. Jake caught me looming at him and gave me a smirk. "Like what you see princess?"
"Nope" I replied quickly. Liar! Of course I liked what I saw.
"No?" He asked, faking a shocked look.
"No"
"How could you possibly say no? I'm gorgeous" I rolled my eyes
"Alright Mr ego" He smirked again. "Are you ready?" I asked
"Yeah"
"Good"
"I take it you riding with me today?" YES!
"I guess...."
"Great" He put his arm around me and we left for school on his motorbike....
