LIVING WITH A BAD BOY

Chapter 17

I sat in the car, wondering where Perry had got to. I guess he really hated me now. He shouldn't hate me though, I stopped him from ending up in hospital.
"What are you thinking about?" Jake asked, smiling at me.
"Nothing much" I replied.
"You are thinking deep about something" I stayed silent. "Is something bothering you?"
"No. I'm fine" He nodded and went back to being silent and driving.
I started to think about before, in the house. He called me his... Girlfriend. I smiled and hid it quickly with my hair.
"Why did you call me your girlfriend before?" He moved uncomfortably in his seat.
"I did it....so they wouldn't... Do anything to you" He stuttered.
"Oh" I fell silent. He did it because he had to... I see. A few seconds passed before he said....
"But I liked it" I smiled and looked down and my hands. I had to bite my lip to stop the giggle of happiness jumping out.
We sat there for a couple of minutes, in silence, with smiles on our faces.
"It's 1:00pm. How about we get some lunch?" Jake suggested. My stomach growled.
"Yeah. Lunch sounds great. I'm starving" I replied.
"McDonald's?"
"Sounds great" Jake drove into the drive through. He rolled down the window and ordered the same thing for both of us, a chicken wrap and a dietcoke. Then he drove into the car park and we ate.
"You eat weirdly" I giggled.
"Don't criticise my eating"
"I'm sorry" We both sat there laughing. A few minutes later, when i had finished, I caught Jake staring at me.
"What?" He grabbed my face and smacked his lips onto mine. I kissed him back, gently at first, gradually the kiss got more and more passionate. I undid my seat belt and wrapped my arms around his neck so I was closer to him. His tongue trailed my bottom lip, asking for entrance. My lips parted slightly, just enough for him.
The kiss lasted for about a minute before we pulled away, in need got breath. I smiled and looked down, not quite knowing what to say.
"For a good girl you are a great kisser" I rolled my eyes. Haha.
We sat there talking for a while. He made me laugh a lot and I made him laugh a few times. I liked to see him smile, he was really attractive like that.
I yawned.
"You can sleep if you want. The back is pretty comfy. Or we could go home and you could sleep for a bit. We have like 4 hours to kill before I take you out"
"Yeah"
4 and a half hours later, Jake and I were in his car driving down a road. We ha slept for about three hours. I felt great!
"You still don't know where we are going do you?"
"Not a clue" He stopped the car at the side of the road.
"Close your eyes" I did. "Now hold out your hands" I did. He placed something papery inside. This had to be tickets of some kind. But what for...?
"What is it?" I giggled.
"Open your eyes" I opened them and looked down at the paper he had put in my hands.
Oh my god! Did he just give me what I thought he just gave me? I looked up at him, shocked.
"Oh my god" I squeaked.
"Good or bad oh my god?" He got me tickets. Tickets to see....
"You got me tickets to see Green day?!?!?" I squeaked happily.
"Yeah" He scratched the back of his head and I wrapped my arms around him. "This is a good thing right? This isn't going to lead to my death right?"
"This is a good thing!!! How did you know I liked them?"
"Your iPod" I giggled. I wonder how he got these so quick. I thought they had sold out weeks ago.
"I've wanted to see these for like forever. THANK YOU!"
"Anytime, but you gotta let go of me so I can drive there before we miss it" I let go of him and we drove away. I can't believe he is taking me to a green day concert.....
