Mother Nature

Watched a firefly dance across the midnight sky
A little burst of beauty against the night
Will you find a lover with your glow
I certainly don't know, but I sure hope so
For something as lovely as you
It shouldn't be hard to do
I look up at the stars
They glisten bright burning afar
Do they all get their turn and eventually burn?
The moon is near by shining boldly as if saying hi
I waved to the moon
Hoping maybe I can go there soon
Everything in the world is pretty
Who ever doesn't see that
What a pitty.

Stars

Stars shining bright. Such a beautiful sight. Twinkling away. As the Earth sways. A night crystal clear. Not a sound to hear. The trees still. Fighting the breeze with great will. The midnight sky.

Star Gazing

Sitting in the garden star gazing. It's strange to think that all those tiny twinkling dots that cover the night sky are giant balls of gas, billions of miles away.

Midnight black's the color you are. A mere simple canvas to show off the night. Little yellow dots twinkle in your darkness. A white little crescent shines brightly in the center. Forever you will be.

Beautiful! πŸ˜ŒπŸ’™

This is lovely!

I always loved fireflies, but we don't have them here west of the Rockies. Of course, wherever we have them, lighting for 3 weeks out of the year, we have mosquitoes for 8 months or more. So, I guess it's ok, I've let the memories of swollen bites fade and winking lights swell.

@MrAlex @nikujagagirl Thanks!πŸ˜ŠπŸ’™@VikingHorn Same here, I love fireflies but there's none where I live

@ashhkat You're welcome!
