Lonely Stars

I wonder how lonely those stars get,
Hanging so far away, half of them have never been met.
And it's a wonder they don't just drop from the sky,
I hope none suffer from vertigo, up that high.
How brave they are to just hang there,
I wonder if they wonder, I wonder if they care...
That they are all alone,
And have such a dark place to call home.

Sitting in the garden star gazing. It's strange to think that all those tiny twinkling dots that cover the night sky are giant balls of gas, billions of miles away.

I Look Up

I look up and see the moon. And wish to sit upon. Watch the world below. And see it moving on. I look up and see the planets. A different place to go. Run along the dunes of Mars.

Dark Sky

I saw a half moon last night. Man, that half side shined so bright. It reminded me of space. That mysterious place. It reminded me of the days, I loved to watch the dark sparkly sky.
