Star Gazing

Sitting in the garden star gazing. It's strange to think that all those tiny twinkling dots that cover the night sky are giant balls of gas, billions of miles away. Balls of gas with undiscovered worlds orbiting them. Balls of gas that are older than me, that are older than the Earth itself. I could sit here all night and wonder what else is out there. There is so much out there that is undiscovered, so many planets and galaxies and stars and black holes. We'll never know or discover them all. It fascinates me, all that out there waiting to be discovered and I'm stuck on Earth, oh well I have my imagination.

Where Are You Stars??

I haven't seen the stars for such a long time. Is it because of the clouds they are hiding behind. Or are they to shy to be in the sky. In a months like July. I want to see them and just stare.

Night

Midnight black's the color you are. A mere simple canvas to show off the night. Little yellow dots twinkle in your darkness. A white little crescent shines brightly in the center. Forever you will be.

Twinkling stars up in the sky. Higher than you and higher than I. Peeping out from midnight blue. A deep and velvet wonderful hue. A streak of stardust cuts through the Night.

Lonely Stars

I wonder how lonely those stars get, Hanging so far away, half of them have never been met. And it's a wonder they don't just drop from the sky, I hope none suffer from vertigo, up that high.
