Night

Midnight black's the color you are.
A mere simple canvas
to show off the night.
Little yellow dots
twinkle in your darkness.
A white little crescent
shines brightly in the center.

Forever you will be.
Forever you will last.
A tiny glimpse of space
I stare at every night.
Always in my heart.
Never will you leave.
We've always been together,
for you are always there.

A never ending darkness.
Is what you've come to be.
Nothing to be scared of.
Nothing left to fear.
Calm and peaceful you are
spacing out before me.
Always changing.
Always moving
as we drift further apart.
Day comes each morning.
You arrive each evening.
But never will I forget you.
My soft but blissful night.

Lonely Stars

I wonder how lonely those stars get, Hanging so far away, half of them have never been met. And it's a wonder they don't just drop from the sky, I hope none suffer from vertigo, up that high.

Twinkling stars up in the sky. Higher than you and higher than I. Peeping out from midnight blue. A deep and velvet wonderful hue. A streak of stardust cuts through the Night.

Dark Sky

Star Gazing

Sitting in the garden star gazing. It's strange to think that all those tiny twinkling dots that cover the night sky are giant balls of gas, billions of miles away.

Little Star

Twinkling in the darkness, I gazed at you. You shine your tiny heart out, I smiled at you. Small, silver points asking for a hug, I gave one to you. Never moving, staying frozen, I felt for you.
