I disagree with your third bullet point. You don't need to have experienced or have knowledge of a subject to be able to philosophise. After all, what is imagination?
@Nom I see your point. I just can't see how someone can philosophise without having a basic grasp on how the world works. There is absolutely nothing wrong with ideas but when ideas are based on bullshit, I can not take them seriously.
