Not Microsoft's Word

Words, as we know, can be extremely powerful. Martin Luther King Jr inspired change with his lists of words assembled into speeches and Winston Churchill had given reassurance and resolve and hope to a whole country on the verge of annihilation time and time again, or his propaganda machine did, I don't really know. It doesn't matter. The words worked.

When it comes down to it, although words can change worlds sometimes, the reality is that even one letter can create change if allowed to, even in Mary Poppins. Imagine how different that film would have been if just one solitary letter had been changed.

"Feed the birds, tuppence a hag".

Are You Sure?

“There are no stupid questions”. Speakers like to say. When they know full well that people ask. Stupid questions every day. “What time is the ten o’clock meeting?”. “Did you cut your hair?”.

Well, Sunday evening and time to announce the winner of the "Jack Sprat" fill in the blanks challenge. Quite an easy task for me as the only entrant was Lee with "Jack Sprat Trims The Fat".
