Turquoise Porpoise

The turquoise porpoise
Is quite a thing to behold.
Watch out for it in your fridge,
Or indeed anywhere cold.

As its name suggests it is bright blue,
But don't let that put you off.
You must be civil to your aquatic friend,
Or else all the milk it will quaff.

The turquoise porpoise is very strong willed,
And has taken down several regimes.
The best approach for an easy life,
Is to feed it custard creams.

Don't think that its all negative though;
This is far from the truth.
The turquoise porpoise can come in handy,
In the event of a leaky roof.

It's also not bad with a paintbrush,
And excels in the strategy of chess.
If placed in a supermarket trolley,
It makes the wheels squeak less.

The turquoise porpoise is a remarkable beast,
And one you'd be lucky to know.
It does have a habit of just turning up,
So have some custard creams on the go.
