Manic Monday? Not Really

It's ten to eight in the morning
This busy working Monday
The kids are still fast asleep in bed
Why can't they do this on a Sunday!

I've been up since six o'clock
Fully wash-o-matic'd
They decide today to lie in
Which will leave the next half hour rather frantic

But at least I got an extra cuppa
And a extra wee sneaky peak
At all your lovely Opusses
To start me off this week

Another day another dollar
That's what they say
Well no rest for the wicked
Well certainly not for me anyway

Aha ... I spoke to soon
I can hear the clan awake
Better get a wellie on
The house is about to shake!
