I want this feeling to last forever
No matter the sadness or stormy weather

As we lie here, under the moon and stars
I'll always be beside you, no matter how far

Miles apart but always entwined
Our shared consciousness, an enlightened mind

Staring up above, to the dark abyss
It's your touch, your warmth, that I truly miss

I yearn to reach out, and touch your hand
Your life alone, was not what we'd planned

I feel your sadness, but you know I'm here
I swear you looked me in the eye, and shed a tear

You talk of love and how proud I'd be
Of our beautiful children and the life they lead

I want to kiss you, just one more time
Feel your soft lips, engage with mine

It's been three years since I passed away
But I'm still beside you, and that's where I'll stay
