A black abyss,
A whirlpool of fear,
A darkened place,
Where none can hear.
A scream, so loud,
It pierces the heart,
And a sob so solemn,
It tears you apart.
You lie there, dead,
But somehow aware.
You see her crying,
Hands in her hair.
With blood on her face,
Rips in her skin,
Scratches on arteries
Peering within.
She looks your way,
Your chest sinks down,
She's know it's you,
You see her frown.
"I know it's you,"
You hear her say,
"I can feel you're here.
Please, just stay.
I still don't know
Why you left.
I thought you loved me.
I've done nothing but wept".
You look in her eyes,
She looks into yours.
Except she looks right through,
And her blood pours.
You try grab her hands,
Stop her from doing the same.
But it's too late now.
You've shamed your name.
You thought ending your life
Was the best thing to do,
But it was by far the worst.
You killed her too.
