A Dream

By Gemma Doyle I was a dreamer. Yes you could put it that way. U know what i dreamed of the most? Boys. Actors, random guys, guys that i knew, guys at church basically guys. But next to a lot of my friends i didn't see myself as pretty. i didn't think anyone would ever like me or fall in love with me. But I thought a number of boys were cute but my biggest crush was Robert. Robert was incredibly cute but he never seemed to notice me it got very upsetting for me especially when i was in this play and i saw him hugging another girl.

Then another of my crushes was Jake, who was also really cute. And sweet unlike Robert. Jake introduced me to his friend Alec on skype Alec and i became fast friends.

Then one night at around 12:00 am i was talking to Alec on skype on my iPhone and i knew i could trust Alec so i told him i liked Robert. And he told me who he liked. Then he said "Can you keep a secret?" And i said "Yeah sure what is it?" "It's who Jake likes." He replied. My heart sank. The last thing i needed was to hear my other crush liked someone but i told Alec "Okay tell me." So he said "Jake..... Likes..... You." My heart was pounding like it never had before! Jake liked me! This took 2 seconds to sink in then i told him that i liked Jake as well! then i sent about a ton of ims asking questions or just being plain happy. But he told me not to tell Jake he had told me and i agreed. Then he decided to tell Jake i liked him and just as Alec predicted Jake was extremely happy.

Then i went to see a play at a professional theatre with my theatre group (Jake was one of them) i enjoyed the play but jake and i would catch each other's eye and blush we didn't say a word to each other that day.

A couple evenings later Jake called me. Alec was over so me, him and Jake goofed off a bit. Then Alec went quiet and Jake said "Gigi we should go on a date." I really wanted to but my parents would never let me they thought i was to young. So i told him "Jake I'd love to but my parents wouldn't let me I'm sorry! Don't take it bad!" Then he said "My parents wouldn't like it either" then we laughed. And that started a beautiful relationship of my first and recent boyfriend.
