By Gemma Doyle. Miranda's tears had stopped but her face was puffed and she couldn't help but think of Tom. No more going out for ice cream on Sundays, no more hearing his laugh or seeing his always smiling handsome face, no more movie nights Saturday, no more seeing him and Patricia together. "Oh my gosh Patricia... What's she going to say?! Oh no..." Thinking of Tom's girlfriend was unbearable how was she going to take this? "That's going to be one more person sobbing great..." Miranda started crying again "I'm going to be a single child... I don't want to be I want Tom... I need Tom..." And broke into hysterical sobs. Trying not to think of him was hopeless. Miranda couldn't help thinking of her big brother. Her only brother. And how awful to think about: her dead brother.
