In one single moment your whole life can turn around. He stands there for a minute staring straight at the ground. He slightly raises his head then looks back down. He looks like his world has caved in. He wears a frown upon his usually happy face. "Please let me show you where we could be, for us I can change and I can grow. The best thing about us is that we always have trust, we could even have an open relationship if you must" he says. He looks at me and I'm staring straight back at him, something in the distance catches my attention, then I close my eye's and hang my head, I open my eyes and then look down at my feet. He moves his hand up from down by his side, he's shaking. He touches my chin gently and sighs "I can't imagine my life without us" he says, as a tear rolls down his cheek. I take his hand from my chin and place it on his chest. There's a long silence. He pulls me close to him, putting his arms around me. He lowers his head to mine and stares straight into my eyes, "You vowed we'd be forever, now youre letting everything just crash and fall down. This is out of order now..". I pull away and he clamps his arms around my waist. I try to push him back gently, I looks him straight in the face and I feel heartless " why am I doing this?" I think. I turn my back quickly before I have second thoughts. I take a step forward, hesitate, then walk away. I love this man too much.
