A truce a peace
Some sweet release
The blood on their hands
Will drip dry
And drain through the sands
Of this ancient land
Terror and fear
Are the rulers here
This time eight days
Next time a year
A temporary end to violence
A strange and uneasy silence
It seems hard to understand
Why the fight for this small piece of land
And while there's peace this very night
Both sides would claim a birthright
And this latest chapter of holy war
Is finished for now
But how long for?

I doubt it will last the weekend, the media will probably tell us Hamas has fired a couple of 'rockets' at Jerusalem and the IDF will say: "they are the aggressors, see!", and the fragile illusion of hope for the Palestinians will be shattered by a hail of Israeli missiles. I could be wrong. Great write Sir and an incredibly relevant question 😃👍👏👏🐷🍞☕
@Weirdwolf thanks mate. I caught it on the news this morning, and it's only really a matter of time isn't it, poor bastards. 😢😢😢 Thanks for the RP sir 👍🐷🍞☕
