Invent a magic pill
Once it is taken
There'll be endless bacon
And tea for us to swill
It comes in packets of two
One for me and one for you
You just have to wish
For your favourite dish
Or a fabulous gold plated loo
Maybe a lifetime supply
Of steak and kidney pie
Or perhaps you
Want a sports car or two
Or wings, so that you may fly
But I don't need a pill
Today's most wonderful thrill
Would be you and me
Sitting under a tree
With plenty of time to kill
