The confusion you must feel
Did that really just happen
Are your days really real?

I can only imagine
How very numb you are
Life is in slow motion
Detached feelings from afar

I can only imagine
The tears that you cry
How the turmoil inside
Is like wanting to die

I can only imagine
How everything seems hard
That you are walking around
Barefooted on tiny glass shards

I can only imagine
How you feel you are alone
You made a drastic decision
Now your problems have grown

I can only imagine
How tough it was to leave
To close the door and walk
To finally be able to breathe

I can only imagine
That life will get worse
There's lots to sort out
It's the 'breaking up curse'

I can only imagine
How your life will change
Slowly it will get easier
Once everything is arranged

I can only imagine
How it will feel to be happy
Which shall eventually come
You just have to stay strong you see

I can only imagine
Your sweet life, years from now
Dear friend I wish you it all
You shall get it someway, somehow

Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.
