Trapped

This world is a trap,
Just all tap, tap, tap,
Around and around,
Never leaving the ground,
Longing, wishing, hoping,
All drinking and doping,
Will that find more?
Than life's old chores,
Freedom is where, now?
Just why, when, how?
Perhaps if I look at the sky,
One day I'll grow wings and fly,
Or if I dream of the stars,
I'll get a rocket-ticket to Mars,
Perhaps if I look at your eyes,
For long enough, without disguise,
A tender kiss will release me,
And from this world, I'll be free.

Broken

Words spill out from me. A vocabulary lost, devoid of all meaning, The endless monologue will never explain; Revelations into the soul are pointless.
