In the deep, dark recesses
Of my deep, dark mind
Lies a quiet kind of madness
That many couldn't find
Twisted emotions,
Twisted intent
Demons encircling
From hell they've been sent
Murky black shrouds
Cloud my good judgement
And so I tell no one
About this torment
A creature of the darkness
When light enters, I hide
Nobody knows of this beast
The monster that lurks inside
An empty kind of darkness
A frightening void of the heart
Lying facedown in the black
Waiting for a chance to restart
Two opposing forces
Like the crashing of the tide
The terrifying part of me
The Jekyll to my Hyde
