Do You Remember

#projecthumanity(ish)

Remember when the world was safe
When kids could play outside all day
When doors weren't locked 'til late at night
when you could trust that man was kind

Well now the doors stay locked all day
The trust has gone the dodos way
Our children have to carry phones
And some don't even leave their homes

The fear has gripped us all its true
Respect is lost and hate has bloomed
No longer do we love our peers
Our neighbours are just people there

Cast your mind back if you can
When fear you'd not your fellow man
A million years ago it seems
Or was this merely just a dream

The 'R3@L' World.

Remember when we all used words. That time so long ago. When 'C U L8R' wasn't that, It was 'know' instead of 'no'. Remember when we taught to spell, And every write was art.

Halloween

Whatever happened to Halloween. The costumes and treats galore. The trick-or-treaters, ghouls and ghosts, Alas, they are no more. Is it the rain or fear and pain, That drove away those smiling faces.

One Day In The Future

#projecthumanity One day they won't be swear words, They'll just be jokes and naught, Used so lightly, nothing bad, Another sort of sport. One day they'll just be gestures, Incriminating. No.

My Living Venue

Wind blows in my face, Rain cascades at a fast pace. Cold winds chill me to the bone, Sitting on a bench, all alone. A Drunkard sings his inaudible song, Smelling of urine and a horrible pong.
