I am a girl of only 4ft 11 1/2!
I know I know please don't laugh
My job is ridiculous I'm sure you will agree
I groom dogs for a living and some are bigger than me!
They bite me, they growl and smell a bit
I have been scratched, pissed on and covered in shit
Why am I doing this I ask myself
As my back will tell me I ain't doing it for my health
They hate it, the drying, the cutting and getting wet
I have to tell them it's only a blow dry and set
But of course they don't understand what I am trying to say
They just see a bath and think not getting in there no way!
But when done and pampered and smelling so clean
They run out of the salon the happiest I have seen
They get home run wild which is what they are used to
Then immediately roll in a pile of poo!!
