I am the rain,
I live in the clouds,
I'm wet and miserable,
Bringing rain to the crowds,
Sometimes a little sprinkle,
Sometimes a quick shower,
Sometimes Im here all day,
But I water the pretty flowers,
I also bring a romantic opportunity,
To kiss underneath me,
A photo finish a lovers embrace,
Two lovers setting their hearts desires free,
I sometimes appear with thunder,
And a flash of lightening too,
Sometimes if the sun is present,
I help bring rainbows too,
I cool down a humid summer,
With my quick down pours,
Kids like to splash,
In the leftover puddles on the floor,
Three hundred little droplets,
For Sam's three hundred rhymes,
I am the rain,
But I pray for sunnier times.
