Been on a road trip today,
To Leicester, the a47 all the way,
I hate that road, restricted to a sixty,
And I got stuck behind a driver who stayed at fifty,
The crawler lanes are too short,
By the end of the journey my tempers always fraught,
A journey that usually takes over an hour,
I'd done it in fifty minutes, now that's girl power,
Now sitting here waiting for food,
Contemplating my drive back home, I'm really not in the mood,
But I can't stay here forever,
In a few hours ill have to suck it up and brave the cold weather,
Back in the car, travel the roads of black,
Ill write better poetry when I'm back.

In this neck of the woods an hour drive is equivalent to just down the road a piece😊 great write! You captured your frustration well🌟👍🌟
