Is our life mapped out from birth
Do we have a purpose on this home we call earth
Is it played out by a series of events,
are we better off not knowing it's contents?
Do choices we make take us on a detour
a different path opened whilst closing a door
Could it be our journey is written, and we have no control
living through each day whilst playing out our role?
A puppeteer playing out his story,
delivering pain whilst to others fame and glory.
If we could know our own stories, would we want to,
I think my answer would be no, but what about you?

If we knew then we'd influence events (good and bad), I'd rather not know tbh. What will be will be and all that altho I do believe we are somewhat in control of our lives, free will but some things happen for a reason(s)

@smellyfingers agree and yes we have free will but are we in control of the decisions that come to us where we choose to exercise our free will? I guess I'm thinking about those two crane drivers etc and why they overslept on that paticular day, if you don't believe in god having a hand in it, then what? I'm curious 😉 thanks for the RP hun 😘
We all have decisions to make in life babe, it's the consequences we need to think about! Why doesn't a starving homeless man just walk into a shop and start eating? Consequences! He'd starve to death! And yes I guess we are in some way in control of the decision that come to us, karma perhaps, butterfly effect, what you or I do now alters our timeframe later on down the road of life. Perhaps cosmic energy or instinct in sleep? Some say when we are born we choose lessons to learn in this earthly life, we have free will and pick the lessons, once we learn them we die and pick new ones, the end goal is to be all knowing, as god is, however you define god, and that is the purpose of life, some also say that our soul is like an energy and to become all knowing we must experience a 3d form (the human body) and by doing so we learn many lessons. To know all the love and good stuff we must know the bad too. Like I said to a certain extent we are in control but the cards have already been dealt and sometimes things happen to remind our soul why we are here and the lessons. Are you familiar with the concept of "the book of knowledge" ?? Read my piece yesterday about memories lol x btw nobody knows for 100% sure it's just how we as individuals judge it and feel comfortable, some say god made it all and is in control but I don't buy that and the spiritual meaning of life feels right, for me! Z

Yes we do make our own paths, if the cards have already been dealt (same thing isn't it?) let me ask ya a question: what in your opinion is the purpose of life? What are me and you here in this world? How is it that me and you talk on a app? Lol some say their purpose is their kids (I live for my kids or all I wanted in life was kids) then what, when they've grown up? Do they then cease to be? No, they find new meaning/purpose.....sadly, some never find it/them! If God (in the Christian bible sense) truly does exist in a heaven then why does he not, if he all loving and all powerful, help babies that die of cot death or other?
@smellyfingers my purpose is to live it, learn from it have no regrets and enjoy it and where possible try to make a difference, but like you said earlier dont we need the bad as well as the good? so if god made everything in the world perfect would we appreciate it? and this life could be a test for us maybe there's an afterlife? The existence of god is a whole other debate lol, but yes I guess that's part of the question isn't it is our destiny down to god or just a series of unfolding events created by ourselves..

@sjw that would be telling!! Lol I don't think any one thing can define a person, sure we are parents but we still want and do our own thing. People change, grow and move on, so life must be about learning/knowledge IMO what defines you now won't in 5/10 years time, it's all about the soul babe. Here's a question for you; if a person is clinically brain dead, do they still have a soul? X
@smellyfingers that's an easy one I'd say yes, but don't ask me to explain it, my intellect tells me our soul is different to our body no?
Yeah of course it is, the body is the physical vehicle for the soul to live, we can't reach out and touch the soul but we can effect it in some way (music, words, senses ect all the things the soul wants and needs to learn, to progress). Some say the soul is in your brain so if brain dead does your soul cease, maybe it depends where in the brain ect I dunno lol. Stephen Hawkins wasn't always in a wheel chair ya know, he has some kind of rare condition bit his brain is very much active and incredible, the experts said he'd be dead in 5years when diagnosed, science isn't always correct lol x
@smellyfingers the soul being in your brain makes no sense to me I don't think it's part of our physical being at all, but yes agree it can be influenced by physical things like music dance etc i definitely believe science makes mistakes....

I think of everything as energy. Everything affects everything else. It is all connected, everything! This world we live in is like a playground, a place to experience all that life has to offer. We have a choice though, good /bad; nice /horrid; hot /cold kind/ unkind, what do you choose in this moment?
