A little after thought from my "Venezuela" post ;-)
Everybody's on the hustle for more
From the rich men to the extremely poor
While I'm haggling over a measly score
A wealthy man negotiates in millions to store
We are divided but we all want to spend
Some earn interest on what they lend
Others pay the bills to struggle all over again
Rich man/poor man won't be friends
I earn a little because my needs must
I must provide so my kids have stuff
A little is a lot when you haven't got enough
Some spend more when they have too much
Rich man stresses 'cos the deal was left in doubt
Homeless man argues and he screams and shouts
He's starving and he's cold cos he wanders about
It's all a game of maths that we need to figure out
Some care when others are in need
Some dare when a lover's in greed
Some tear when a mother's left to bleed
Some stare when a brothers greed to need bleeds to eat
We have all lost our way
Some get more to play
Some will get found today
And remember its not how we're made
It's how we calculate the worlds and divide when we get payed
