Autumns Touch

Autumns touch
Fades the colors
Seep into my hands
Your beauty leaks
Wither and die
Sleep underground

Autumns touch
Brings new colors
Browns and reds
A neutral picture
Slowly falling
Your losing all

Winters touch
Leaves you dead
Hiding beneath the earth
Trying to keep warm
Huddled together
Away from freezing winds

Winters touch
Leaves barren the land
A white veil across
Sparkling diamonds
To shatter all thoughts
Of blooming again

Springs touch
Melts the cold
Warms the breeze
And gives life again
A battle between seasons
Life and death

Springs touch
Awakens all
Blooming flowers
Sprouting grasses
New leaves
And births of many

Summers touch
Lets all grow old
Warming the chilly mornings
And the chilly nights
Ceasing all growth
At its peak

Summers touch
Leaves all thirsty
Slowly drying out
Wrinkling and creasing
Turning into dust
That blows in the wind

Soon autumns touch
Starts to come
To start it all again
