When scared or tired
It was your bed I'd go
Tucked up nicely
Sometimes you didn't even know

When I hurt myself
I'd cry to you
"I've got a booboo"
And you'd fix it then kiss it better too

When I needed help
It's you I'd go to
You'd talk with me
Then tell me what to do

Now that I'm older
You're like my best friend
We talk about everything
You always help me when something needs a mend

But most of all I love you
You've made me who I am today
I love you, mum, so much
And I wouldn't have you any other way
