Im tired of watching crude Politics
Spread by Small-minded dicks
Energy wasted controlling a nation
Whose brains are on permanent vacation.
Corruption waits on the road to power
The most innocent intention it will turn sour
Quickly sidestepping all original morals
In an attempt to win petty quarrels
There can be no winners in ideal pollution
It only paves the way to idea revolution
A constantly changing manifesto, itself defiles
No rhyme or reason, full of lies and fake smiles
There's been several nights of the long dagger
To accomplish your goal and brash swagger
Stop at nothing, minions to convert
Not too bothered about causing hurt
Regurgitating one liners that parties have tried before
You opposed them then but now they're churned out opportunity's door
'Do as I say not as I do
You couldnt fit into my righteous shoe'
Secrets hidden won't stay there for long
Doesn't take Sculley to find the wrong
The back benchers might nod and say yes
But soon even they will second guess
Sound bites and quotes, style over content
After a while even you forget what you meant
Political nausea wafting through the halls of Westminster
Jobs for the boys and expenses on tap combined with motives more sinister
