Inspiration

Sometimes; inspiration
I can pluck out of thin air
Other times it seems as though
There is nothing there

Some days I can write and write
The words, they never end
Other days my mind is dull
Pen and paper not my friend

I wish that inspiration
Could be a steady flow
Rather than a drought at times
Then a flood all in one go!

Words

A way with words is what they say, I never knew before this day. A smile upon my face when I write something I think is good, a scowl when it's not understood.

Weapon Of Choice

I have a special pen that I use for writing. It's a big chunky metal pen with a nice comfy grip. I use refills from a range of pens call Frixon which means I can rub stuff out with no trouble at all.

Poetry

Ideas flicker in the dark of the mind, Brilliant, fleeting, and Gone. The candle stands, Just out of reach. Waiting for the match. For the spark. For the flame.

Itch

That itch I had, it's back. I'll take my mind and scratch. Inspiration flows. My hands, they know. To write the hurt away. To write for better days. My perspective view has changed.

@Nom errr yes I'm a little addicted? You need to write more, I've run out 😜

@naaviie should I be worried?! 😝 don't worry I have another tragic poem I want to write up later

@Nom - worried?! Oh goodie, a little bit of tragic never hurts 😜

I get this totally....fab write😃😃😃😃

@Nom Love it, always looking for the flood... :)))

@misslittleDHP thank you! At the moment it's a drought!

@Barknbite thank you :), sometimes the flood can drown you though!

I know EXACTLY where you're coming from. I've got a few pieces half written kicking about, & know if my mind was in the right place I could also write a quick piece in between....but I'm tired & can't be bothered if I've got to force if. So alas, I doubt there'll be a post from tonight either😔 Hope your inspiration is revived v.soon my friend😌😘

@Fly10 so do I! I have two poems in my head that I know could be good, if I could just find the right words! Half written poetry is the worst, unless you finish something in one go, it's really hard to recall your train of thought. Yeah I'm tired too, doesn't help. Maybe tomorrow!

Yes, there's always tomorrow😘

@Fly10 :)

@Nom Please, let me drown... :)

@Barknbite it's tiring
