Certain Book

I've noticed a few flaws,
Within a certain book...
And it's made me wonder
What other nonsense's been took.
You preach about one thing,
But then you do another...
Is this all just a facade?
Beliefs you made to cover?
But I don't get why you needed them...
It was a free land back then.
Suppose you wanted the control,
Wanted to cause fear, class and pain.
Still it seems ridiculous,
Or is that just me?
When you tell us there's a hell,
But you forgive all you see?
Then what is hell filled with?
Nuns that are bigots too?
Because they're married to you,
And you're married to others...
What you did with Mary was taboo.
So forgive me for not believing.
But it seems you just pick and choose
Which bits you want to follow...
And what bits you want to lose.

(Just my own little opinion on religion right now. Feel free to continue what you like. I'm not out to change anyone's beliefs, or offend. Just merely making a note of what i've found... So feel free to disregard)
