Chapter 7

The bell rang and I jumped out of my seat before storming out of the room. Jake didn't have chance to stop me.
I heard girls talk about me as I made my way down the hall. 'She's the one that Jake kissed' some of them whispered. God these girls can gossip! They all gave me looks of anger and jealously. Why were they jealous? I lived with the schools bad boy, who was EXTREMELY hot and was every girls dream. Oh...
"Katie!" I heard someone shouted. "Katie!" I turned expecting to see Jake. I didn't want to talk to him right now, he made me so angry. But it wasn't him. It was my best friend Timi.
"Katie! Are you alright?" She asked.
"No, I'm not actually" I replied, a little harsher than I should have.
"What's wrong? And why is everyone giving you death stares"
"You really wanna know?" She nodded.

I told her everything from my mom saying that she was leaving to the kiss in the classroom. Timi listened, asking a few questions as I told my story.
"So now you're angry at him right?" She asked.
"Yeah!"
"And you don't wanna see him right?"
"I will have to eventually"
"Well... He's just seen you, he's at the other end of the corridor" Don't turn around Katie!
"What?!?" I hissed
"He's walking this way" oh god!
"Does he see you looking at him?"
"Yes. He wants me to not tell you that he's coming..." I looked at her very confused "So you won't run away probably" oh...
"How close is he?"
"Em..." What? I felt hands on my shoulders. I guess I got my answer.
"I need to have a talk with my girlfriend" ... Jake. She nodded but seeing the worry in my face she didn't move "So leave"
"I don't think she wants to talk to you"
"Tuff! Move or I'll make you move" Jake threatened.
"Are you ok here?" I nodded "I guess I'll see you later then"
"Just leave" He spat and she did. In one quick movement jake pushed me into a empty classroom.
"What do you want?" I hissed
"To talk. What's wrong with you?"
"What's wrong with me? You kissed me, in class, in front of the teacher"
"What's wrong with that?"
"Everything"
"Aww you're worried that you won't get the high levels because you kissed a guy in class" He laughed
"No"
"What then?" I didn't know. Everything but nothing. I couldn't give him an answer.
"I- I- I don't know. Can we just drop this?"
"No"
"Well I am" He laughed "You know you really bring out the mean side to me. Before I found out that I was coming to live with you I was happy, never annoyed, never angry"
"Maybe it's because you love me and you don't know how to act around me"
"Maybe it's because you have one of those faces that makes me just want to pull you head off of your neck"
"You must have me confused with someone else. Everyone loves my face. I mean I don't blame them... I really am that gorgeous"
"Yeah... I really don't know how you do it. I'm so jealous" I said sarcastically.
"That better not have been sarcasm"
"It was"
"You aren't going to lesson until you apologise" He told me. Oh aren't I?
"Good luck with that"
"You think I can't keep you behind?"
"I know you can't" Jake smirked, hooked an arm around my waist and pulled me into the school cupboard with him.
"What are you doing?" I giggled.
"Making you apologise"
"You really do like proving a point, don't you?"
"I do"
"Ok. Ok. I'm sorry"
"What type of apology is that?"
"Isn't sorry enough for you, Mr Massive Ego?"
"No. And that's now double apology you owe me"
"So what do I have to do?"
"Admit that I'm gorgeous, talented, amazing and just perfect in every way"
"Haha. You really think in going to say that?"
"Yeah. If you want to pass your test next lesson" I shook my head. "I'll keep you in here all night if I have too"
"Course you will!" I laughed.
"Don't tempt me"
"You really want me to say it that bad? Will it help you sleep tonight?"
"Yeah, it will help me sleep. You could say it tonight as well before I go to sleep if you really want"
"No. This is a one time thing"
"Ok"
"Jake you are gorgeous, talented, amazing and perfect in every way" I chuckled. "Now let me out of here before I'm late"
"One more thing" He grabbed my wrists. ughh.
"What?"
"Tonight you have to watch a movie with me" like a date?
"Why?" I asked.
"Can't I take a girl out with questions being asked?" No, I don't think he can.
"I suppose"
"Ok. So tonight"
"Sure. As long as you let me out of here like now"
"Sure"
I heard the bell ring and we walked out of the cupboard and out of the class....
