Shattered

A smash of a glass,she can't take any more

Sobbing on the stairs, her heart truly broken
The door opens, his words softly spoken

Regret, remorse, his heart upon his sleeve
"Look in my eyes and you'll see, please believe"

"Your my anchor in this storm we must sail
Your my everything , I'm sorry words only fail"

His eyes are ablaze with the passion he feels
For this woman whose been through life's cruel ordeal

Eyes lock and just for that moment in time
They'll forget the loss of a child and the mountain to climb

A touch of the face, a stroke of the hair
The guilt of her arousal too much to bare

"Hold me in your arms, stay with me forever
Let's get through this heartache together"

Slowly they pick up the shards of glass
The journey begins, saying goodbye to the past.

Forgetting

I find myself forgetting. And pushing you to the back of my mind. In the deep dark crevices which are so hard to find. Then as i laugh or swim in the sun. I suddenly remember how we had so much fun.

I Didn't Want To Dream

My life was my nightmare. My nightmares my dream. Whilst awake I was dying. Only alive when asleep. I would long for the demons. That exist in the dark. Much easier to deal with.
