Romeo and juliet were star crossed lovers from the start.
This tale retells the matters of the heart....
Romeo first saw his juliet whilst attending a fancy dress ball.
He could not take his eyes off of her from across the hall.
In a beauiful dress and mask, She walked down the stairs.
Like a princess born with grace and heirs.
As the night went on Romeo's facination grew.
He watched Juliet till the parties end almost drew.
Both seemed to come together at the end of the night, kissing softly under the starry sky.
The party would end soon and they had to say their goodbye.
Shamefully not one or the other knew this love stroy could not grow.
Each of the young lovers family were at war, but the surnames they didnt know.
The montague family were at war with the Capulets.
They found out true identities and it made them sweat.
More fighting sarted and some were killed, Romeo and Juliets love was told it had to end.
The warring families stuborn and cruel, could not call each other friend.
Romeo could not keep away, life living without his love far to hard.
One night Juliet was stood on her balcony and Romeo called to her from the yard.
She could not get him out of her mind, her true hearts feeling she couldnt resist.
It all stemed from the party, the night where they first kissed.
They started to meet behind their families back and made a plot to run away.
Made promises and truths ,Together forever is what they did say.
Sadly their meetings had been found out and things got worse.
Romeo killed juliets husband to be, sending him off in a hearse.
The tale is told that the beautiful juliet appeared dead.
In a dungeon she laid so still and cold on a bed.
Romeo was not told she had been drugged and needed to be saved.
A punishment for the way she had behaved.
Romeo was destroyed and at the poison he did look.
Pressed it to his lips and his own life he took.
Juliet awoke to her love dead by her side.
She sat for a moment as she cried.
Taking a dagger she wanted to eternally sleep with the man she fell in love.
Watching their families from above.
This is the story of the Montague and Capulets.
A story filled with woe and sinfull regrets.
The Capulets lost their daughter and the Montagues lost their son.
Both fought the war but neither had won.
