And I've noticed it a lot
You don't do it when it's cold
But you do it when it's hot
You're rolling up your sleeve
And with a gathering pace
Your hand flaps up and down
And it's waving at your face!
I'm not sure what this does
Does it really cool you down?
Maybe lose the cardie
Or wear a shorter gown
The way I see it ladies
Your hand won't move much air
Flap it any harder and
You might disturb a hair
Hope you've sprayed today
Don't mean to be a rotter
Fanning with your hand
Will only make you hotter
So will you please explain
Why you're waving to yourself
You'll make yourselves too warm
It's detrimental to your health
There is a better way
So buy one if you can
It'll save your wrist from spraining
It's a battery powered fan!

Ha ha! I have done this. When I had long hair, I'd lift it and flap at my neck. Felt like it worked😜 also, right after my concussion from car wreck I'd flap my hands when I'd get over stressed. Thank goodness that didn't last too long!😝 you must report back to us on how many American flappers you see👍 when you going?
