Clouds form in my head
On eggshells
I tread
A darkly mist descends
An intruding fog
Never ends
Droplets fall from above
Clarity rains down
I've had enough
The rain in my heart
Washes my soul
Rips me apart
No blue skies I'll ever see
A permanent cloud
Hangs over me

Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.
Exhaustion is a place I visit a lot. Its not on any map. But all roads lead there. It's a place where I discover tears, emotions torn to shreds. Sensitive to the slightest word or touch.
It has just turned seven On a Saturday eve I should be sat downstairs With the kids on my knees But I am laid up in bed, alone and in such pain As my old black dog Paces up and down to a new...
Inside out all I see is black white and drought. Places crumble feelings fall, but there's nothing I can do to stop it all. Right round the bend it keeps on coming, when will it ever end.
Just words to paper not really supposed to make sense... Knee deep in emotional torment, Dragging life around, Like a bird with clipped wings longing to fly free again.
Out of the sea you rise, fierce with the atrocities of day, You rage till you have burnt the gentle shadows.
I have a little songbird. Encased inside my heart. I let it free to fly and sing. Whenever we're apart. It sends up soft and yellow notes. That drift along the breeze.
No one understands the stress, No one gets the trouble, Often I wish I was them, Outside my little bubble.
She cuts a little deeper, she really loves the sting. Watches as the blood flows, dark red soon fills her sink. Her only wish is for those she loves to forgive her for her sins.
