The serpent of doubt
Slithered too close
Self satisfaction
A long gone ghost
The taunts of torture
Smirk and goad
My once light thoughts
Now a heavy load
Eclipsed by fear
Overwhelmingly so
Shadows do lurk
Wherever I go
I have to get a grip
Rid myself of dubiety
Hesitation and ridicule
Will not set me free

Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.
What's wrong with me I don't understand What am I so different, am I going mad.
I get scared a lot. I do fear a lot. I fear, it's a prison. I fear your rejection. I fear, that I will fail, but with you I can't fail. I fear love the most, but I know you love me most.
Mirror, mirror, on the wall, Do you have the guts, the gall. Can you break before you fall, And show the truth, obey my call. Can you see out, beyond my skin. Portray what really lies within.
How did I reach here. Filled with fear But no single tear With my skies so unclear How did I become so numb.
I dont know why I feel, The way I feel I do, I don't know what is wrong with me, Or why I feel so blue. I don't know what to see. I dont know my belief.
I wonder often about this and that. Things most people wonder at.
I feel a bit uninspired at the moment. Do you ever get those times where nothing you write seems good enough. It's ever so depressing.
Sometimes we are all a little rebellious. Fighting for things we don't know. Looking for a way out. The right way to go. Sometimes we are a little scared. Unsure of what to do. The choices to make.
