1. Regrets

I regret it now. It was thoughtless. Careless. Stupid. I panicked. I was unaware of the consequences. Young. Youthful-Until that day. It was my fault. My fault. If I hadn't been so bloody selfish then- I'd still be living my perfect little life with my....my- the thought hurts too much bear. Amidst all the pain and torment I cam't help but laugh. A cold, hollow laugh. What's the point?
Has hope failed me? Left me here. Abandoned. Scared. Alone. Unwanted. Left on my own accord. Fending off those that hunt me. Seeking those that'll help me. I hear a noise far off. I can't quite place it...though it sounds vaguely familiar. I hear it again, closer this time. Terror surges through me as I realise what's happening.
