A new Olympic event is taking place today
Heavy weight dog lifting is on its way
All dog groomers from across the land
What a competition it's going to be grand
Start off with a chihuahua small and petite
Nice easy start many competing in this heat
Lift up above head no barking allowed
The cheers are deafening coming from the crowd
Next up comes the cocker a bit tougher to do
Uh oh mind your head he needs a poo
Achieved with aplomb the gold medal is in sight
Currently in the lead with this height
Finally the retriever my god he weighs a ton
This is tough when all said and done
He leaps into my arms Oh my god I'm dead
This dog weighs so much and as heavy as lead
After a wobble and a yelp from dog and me
The gold medal is mine but I suddenly need a pee
My god that was tough but a record has been set
I am so proud even though my pants are now wet!!!
