"Lips red as red,
Cheeks white as white,
An unreal beauty,
An aunt with much spite":
The truth of Snow White,
It wasn't as told,
That fairy tale,
Is a story told;
The truth is this:
The girl was young,
And with her aunt,
Didn't hold her tongue...
She'd yap and yap,
Bend Auntie's ear,
Until Aunt decided:
That it was clear-
-That the little girl,
Should be moved a while,
So into the forest,
Was Auntie's style.
The killing is false,
No woodcutter too,
Just Snow in the forest,
Really - who knew?!
The trouble then started:
For Snow was spoilt.
And so Aunt, a Seer,
Fetched cauldron and broiled:
In the future, Aunt saw,
Snow dead on the ground,
And the buildings about her,
Were still, without sound.
Of course, Aunt was shocked,
All she'd wanted was peace!
And now she'd foreseen-
-The death of her niece!
So Aunt brought Snow back,
But the child threw rages,
She'd liked the forest!
No confinement or cages!
But Aunt didn't listen,
So Snow made a plot,
And escaped from her room,
And got herself shot!
It was unfortunate for Snow,
That that very day,
Her husband-to-be,
Came to take her away...
For he came a-hunting,
Mistook Snow for a bird,
To be fair, when she fell:
'SQUAWK!', y'should've heard.
Snow fell from her window,
Where she'd been half out,
And Aunt upon seeing,
Did let up a shout!
So, you see, it's not fair,
Because Aunt wasn't bad,
Snow's unfortunate death,
Was a mistake - it's sad!
So next time you read
Of the dwarves and the mirror,
Just know it was fake,
Boy, Girl, Lady, Sirrah-
Doesn't matter who you are,
Just give Auntie her due,
Because you wouldn't like it,
If she were you!
