Marcus is trying,
To calm himself down,
As the girl watches him,
With a small, little frown.
"Why do you care?"
She whispers in pain.
Her eyes, their color,
They drive him insane.
"Because," he says softly.
"You just cannot die."
The girl shakes her head.
She begins to cry.
She starts to walk away,
From our poor little friend.
No doubt still wishing,
To never walk again.
Never eat, never see,
Never hear, never feel.
"She believes," he realizes,
"That her pain cannot heal."
"But it can!" he thinks,
Watching her walking, with sorrow.
This boy's legs are telling him
That her he must follow.
But what would he say to poor Tasha McFee?
"Don't take your own life,
Because it will matter to me?"
That just sounds selfish,
And he realizes with gloom,
That he can do nothing
To save her from doom.

Writing is my life. Forever. I want to be an author when I grow up. I write all the time. When I'm happy, sad, angry...it's an escape. Oh, and I love green hearts. I absolutely love them.
