Remembering Me

Do I ever cross your mind?
We had so many great times together.
Do you ever hear a song and remember me playing it?
You remember the holidays we shared,
The struggles we encountered,
And the happiness we created.
Do you visit one of our places and immerse yourself in memories?
When he holds you, do you remember how you told me how you'd hold me forever?
Do you feel guilty of all those vows you broke?
Do you remember holding hands whilst walking along the beach with sand in-between our toes?
Do you remember giggling at the same parts of a film?
do you watch those films any more?

I hope you remember the good times.
I remember the you I first met and fell in love with.
She doesn't exist anymore.
I still see post with her name on but she has long gone.
I hope you enjoy the memories as I do.
But I know you will have forced yourself to forget. That was the only way you ever dealt with guilt.

Survival

You don't even remember, I'll never forget Your hands on my body, Your kisses on my lips. In that moment Of passion, drunken-love, I had it all. And it will have to be enough.

Not Letting Go

Sometimes I miss you. Late at night. Alone in my house. In the quiet moonlight. And I sit in bed. And look at pictures of us. And play your favorite songs. Read your notes that are covered in dust.

Broken Hearted Girl

Daylight drifts in through the curtains, Through the window panes, But cannot touch my heart again. Crying, weeping, For what has been, All that I have lost, Yet again.

Better to have love and lost than to never love at all

@benaken rubbish total rubbish 😒 better to have never felt the pain

Great stuff anyway very touching and beautifully written 😊

Sounds like a personal piece. Very well written sir 😊

@aleishagayle20 when u get older u may realise that the pain will make u stronger.. Life isn't supposed to be easy and you learn nothing from always getting what u want

@benaken don't want easy just rather not the pain 😒 stab me I'd rather that then stupid broken heart

This actually strikes a cord with me I made a stupid mistake once and ruined my relationship with the only girl I've ever loved. Still I hope she's happy now. Great piece 👍😜
