I am a powerful force, this, no one can deny
I can be the difference whether you live or if you die
I can be a trickle or a magnificent waterfall
I can be an oceans worth, or a puddle so very small
I can be pure and shallow, crystal clear divine
Or deep and murky, unusual life you shall find
I can be a relaxing gentle, hypnotic sound
Or a crashing roar as I defiantly hit the ground
I am a Reservoir, Brook, Lake or Creek
River, Sea, Pond, Well or Spring so meek
I can be picturesque, wondrous and tranquility
Or devastation, disaster, fierce with ferocity
I am the water that you hold sacredly in your hand
I am the water who can make and destroy land
I am the water that keeps you alive with a sip
I am the water who can make millions sick
I am the all powerful water, this, no one can deny
I am the difference whether you live or if you die

Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.

@misslittleDHP @naaviie It's true, water has some truly amazing properties for such a small and simple molecule. It is the source and home of life, more than anything else on earth.
@VikingHorn - cant have life without water, that's why we look for water on other planets. Much different to carbon, where in theory nitrogen could perform the role in a different form of life.
@misslittleDHP @naaviie Well, to be very brief, it's no coincidence that every organism on earth is more water than everything else put together. In slightly more detail, combining the facts that water is an excellent solvent, has a freezing and boiling point fairly close together, and has a solid phase that floats in its own liquid phase (ice floating in water), there's nothing else remotely like it. Although I wouldn't be sure there can't be life without water, it would just be very different from ours, at a minimum.
@VikingHorn I really hadn't thought of it like that...I wait for the day when we can get really fantastic pictures and video footage of new planets and existing planets...thanks for sharing your knowledge my lovely, it's fascinating😘😘
** floats on it's liquid one. And it's all about providing a consistent environment or life to evolve... There could be others 😊
@VikingHorn @naaviie that's what's fascinating and exciting about it all...whether there really could be other life😉😉😉😉
@misslittleDHP @naaviie in geologic terms, it seems that life developed on our planet almost as soon as conditions could physically allow it. That bodes well, I think, for finding it elsewhere. I thought of a premise for a range of science fiction stories once, about a planet rich in metals and silicon that generates self replicating solid state circuitry as it forms and cools, a life form that would look to us like machinery.
