From the age of fifteen I've written a diary, stories, songs or poems. I continued to write all sorts, to friends and family mainly but I longed for somewhere that I could share my words, thoughts and feelings with like minded people.
At the age of 40 that wish came true, my friend told me about Opuss as both herself and her partner use it. She said "Kim, you love writing...you must check out this app".
So I did....it was like opening a door and stepping into a world that was so fantastical and wondrous I was beside myself with excitement.
What struck me the most was how it was like being on a long journey looking for somewhere you can call home and finally finding it at last.
The first couple of days I just read and read lots of people's work and was truly amazed at the enormous amount of talent, I felt a bit out of my depth to be honest but I took a deep breath and tapped away....and so my first ever Opuss was born.
Pressing POST I was so nervous but I needn't have been as straight away I had a few likes and comments.
The rest they say is history as I'm now doing what I wanted to do and that is to write everyday.
I cannot believe what a warm and loving community Opuss is, I have made friends with people who I admire and respect. I have grown as a writer and as a person because of Opuss.
It's a secure place where you can share stories, poems, famous quotes, blogs and jokes.
You are welcomed, praised, supported, and valued both as a person and as a writer.
