I've felt the pain and the hurt of losing a child. I've felt the heat from the sun as it looked down and smiled. I've felt the cry and desperation of the oppressed and the weak.
I learnt the lesson long ago. I knew that boys were bad news. I saw my friends fall apart. From bad romances that didn't last. I made a promise to myself. I'd never ever lower my defence.
I'm in love with him. Totally and completely in love with my best friend. We can talk forever and more after that, and I guess one time while we were talking, I went and fell in love with him.
Catching all my dreams. Writing them down would take up reams. Collecting my darkest fears. Saving me from millions of tears. Gathering all my insecurities. Casting them aside without any subtleties.
Why have friends. They let you down They make you frown You can't rely on friends You can't let yourself down Or make yourself frown Your friendship might just end Why have friends.
I've been called pretty. I've been called ugly. I've been smart. I've been dumb. I've loved often. But mostly I've lost. It's hard to believe things are so different. I've lost huge parts of my life.
We were once a stranger. Then we started chatting. And got close. Probably we can be called friends. We started to have everyday conversations. People starts to think we're a couple.
I found a new friend today To hold close to my heart I forever looked forward to being good friends I hoped that we would never end.
