Ive noticed a lot of posts that say
That awkward moment when...
Sometimes they endlessly clog my feed
I'm not quite sure what to make of them.
Sometimes I read them and scratch my head
That doesn't sound awkward to me
And other times they make me smile
As they're actually quite funny.
But it got me thinking this very day
Of awkward moments on here
I'd like to share them with you
Perhaps you'd like to hear.
That awkward moment when...
You read an Opuss at length
You haven't a clue what it's about
So you read it again to make sense.
It must be good you think
As 10 other people like it
So you leave an emoji instead of a comment
So you don't look like a complete tit.
That awkward moment when...
A favourite of yours, writes something rather poor
Instead of lying, you leave a comment
Just to reassure.
That awkward moment when....
Someone weird starts following you
They leave suggestive comments
Ignore, is all you can do.
That awkward moment when....
Your poetic OCD kicks in
You read a poem that doesn't rhyme properly
And your desperate to correct her/him.
That awkward moment when....
You posted something blue
And although you've put a warning up
A 13 year old comments too.
That awkward moment when....
You comment on a rather sad piece
You post the laughing emoji
Instead of the super sad face
Perhaps you have some awkward moments too
