There's a heffalump in the mirror
I wish you all could see.
The strangest thing I ever saw
Staring back at me.
There's a heffalump in the mirror
It's screwing up its face.
Now it's eyes have widened
And it's stepping back a pace.
There's a heffalump in the mirror
It's nose pressed to the glass.
It's winking one eye slowly
Now it's stifling a gasp!
There's a heffalump in the mirror,
It's face I recognise.
It has those unplucked eyebrows
And dark shadows under eyes.
The heffalump in the mirror
Grimaces in distaste.
Once again I have forgotten
This is my morning face. :(
