Sitting on a leaf
Too hot upon the tree trunk
So he's crawled off underneath
It must be really awful
To roast inside your shell
L'escargot en flambé
Must be a living hell
So I took a closer look
At the leaves upon the floor
His friends are all there with him
Not one, not two, but four!
Hello Mr. Leafsnail
I see you've found your mates
He caught my eye, and with a sigh
Said, not you again! Oh great...
Now look here, me old china
I've told you twice before
I don't want to natter
We're here to snooze and snore
Will you kindly bugger off
And leave us leafsnails be
Or me and my three mates
Will slime all over thee
Quite the rudest mollusc
I have ever come across
I was only being pleasant
But he didn't give a toss
Be warned, Mr. Leafsnail

My best friend is a Frenchman
