I have written
Never a truer word
Have I wrote
You have placed
Something within me
That I truly
Have not felt before
You make me smile
In my waking day
And when I dream
When you call
My heart flips
When you hold me
It feels so natural
Loving, warm and safe
I hope and pray
That you are the one
The one that will
Love me, cherish me
Always, today and tomorrow
It feels it to me
But for fear of sounding
Ridiculous, presumptuous
Desperate and silly
I daren't say
But the feeling
Just won't go away
Do you feel it too?
I wonder?
Only time will tell

First written in July 2001.....I wrote this a month after meeting my then boyfriend...........we married in 2006.....and have 5 beautiful children together.
