Man Flu

Oh my god, I've been so ill
I've had to take a ton of pills
Laying In bed feeling so bad
It's the worst flu I've ever had

Throbbing pain inside my head
My legs ache and feel like lead
My insides feel swollen and bruised
All my joints feel like they've fused

Hubby has gone to work all day
Left alone to cope this way
Pills and drinks he left me with
Cough mixture too, said i would live?

But I'm really not so sure
Don't think that I will survive much more?
Laying here feeling sad
In this body that ache's so bad!

Took the pills he left for me
But what I need is sympathy
I pray I will feel better soon
So I can move out of this room

Drifting in and out of sleep
No need to count any sheep
Eyelids feel like lead weights
Sleep an hour then I wake

I wake up hot then I'm cold
It's the fever I've been told
Not to worry it will soon go
Hope it's soon I feel so low?

Is this the dreaded man flu
You guys all refer to?
All those times I've took the piss
I never knew you felt like this?
